After a few sessions practicing the previous objectives, it’s time to improve that pumping so that it starts to be really efficient. Pumping consists of 2 phases, taking weight off the board to lift the foil, and giving weight to the foil to go down gaining speed. Focus first on lifting and when you have it you move on to the next objective.
The foil will rise as long as it has speed and little weight, so the objective now is to take weight off the foil by giving a kind of “jump” as if you wanted to fly, in fact I moved my hands as if I wanted to do it. But without lifting the soles of your feet off the board, if you lift your feet you will lose balance immediately. I know that the experts lift the heel on the back foot when pumping, but you are not a pro so keep the soles of your feet close to the board because right now balance is much more of a priority than that small optimization for experts.

Remember to look ahead again, without fear, having confidence that it will turn out well, if you think you are going to fail you will look at the board and fail, look at the target you want to reach, keeping the tip of the board in the corner of your eye.
Record yourself on video, check that when you “jump” you fully extend your legs, if you do not fully extend them your “jump” will not be efficient. See that when you go up you have your arms high up as if you were going to fly with them, that you have your body fully stretched, and see if the foil goes up.
I did this in my 10th session.
