I tested my new Gong Kite stabilizer of 40cm2 and 210cm2 area (equivalent to gong fast stab S) with both my Gong Rise XXL wing (low aspect) and the Gong Fluid XXLT (mid aspect). In both cases the foil was much more unstable, it went more easily to the sides and I had to spend energy correcting it, even more than with the Gong Rise L stabilizer because it is the smallest kite.

The x-over stabilizer is the most laterally stable that I have tried and it goes perfectly with the Gong Rise front wing, but it is too big for the high aspect front wing so it slowed it down and made it swing up and down too abruptly for a mid aspect.
In this photo you can clearly see the difference in size in terms of surface area, but also in terms of length.

In this other photo you can see the difference of the x-over with the tips ending upwards, which I think is one of the keys to its stability. If I manage to get the x-over M stabilizer (smaller) I will try it to see how it goes with the mid aspect front wing.
