The Gong Veloce XXL vs Gong Fluid XXL-T front wings are very similar in size and shape:
- Gong Veloce XXL – 1900cm2 area and 107cm wingspan
- Gong Fluid XXL-T 1950cm2 area and 105cm wingspan
Both are mid aspect (approximately 5.8 aspect ratio), so they are fine for what I used them for. That is, as an intermediate adaptation step between a low aspect foil and a high aspect foil. But they require very active pumping, with no possibility of rest and just glide, so in 30 seconds you will be exhausted and will have to rest on the dock a bit before the next jump.
I have now ordered a high aspect wing but I will still keep the Gong Veloce XXL wing, which is the one I have the most scratched up for when I want to try foiling in some narrow or shallow place so as not to damage the new wing.
